Helpful tools for telehealth:
It can be helpful to have paper and a pen/pencil nearby. I have found writing is a very beneficial tool in the therapy process.
If you tend to get hot or cold when processing big emotions, it may help to have a fan nearby, or a comfortable blanket
If we are doing EMDR work, it is helpful to have comforting materials around you such as tissues, water, or a soft pillow.
Be sure to have a confidential space where you will not be interrupted.
